Carpenter Apprentice Challenge

Please answer the following equation in feet, inches, and fractions of an inch. Be sure to use a single sheet of paper showing your work with your name on it. To obtain an answer within a sixteenth, extend your work to the third decimal. 

In a 10' x 15' room that's 8' high calculate the distance from the lower left to the upper right.

Hint: It would take two pythagoreans to answer this equation.
